I'm not sure why, but I never really enjoyed reading or watching Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone. It feels very childish and aimed at a younger audience. Not to mention that the actors look a lot younger than 11. I felt a bit bored watching it and didn't really enjoy it. Nonetheless, it is Harry Potter, so I will give it a 5. Come here, Potter. He actually did. I mean, I would run the other way instead of obeying.
Not all of these scenes are deleted different film have different scenes because I have some of these scenes on my dvd. BUT NEVILLE WAS BY FAR THE BEST AT HERBOLOGY. This scene explains what comes in the Deathly Hallows. Snape really is the good guy. But nobody ever considers it. Mandrake : Bites Draco Draco : mY fAtHeR wILL hEaR aBOut tHIs. This theme reminds me of dimly lit libraries while its raining outside, along with the aroma of coffee. I used to go to Barnes and Nobles as a kid to read the books, its all a very comfy feeling thats hard to explain.
The casting of this movie was genius. Everyone was just as I pictured while reading the book. The scenery, the effects, everything was right on the money. Even the Quidditch match was just as I had imagined. I am eagerly awaiting the release of "The Chamber of Secrets.
It's kinda sad that I found this the scariest scene in the whole film series. Ralph Fiennes as Voldemort was more comical than scary. This Voldemort was truly terrifying. And John Williams' music doesn't hurt either. I wish Chris Columbus had directed all the films.
Brings back so many memories.

Well I've not really read any of the books besides the first one and I must say that the transition from text to full visual splendor is truly amazing and looks very very accurate. Add a top rate cast and a top rated director to the cauldron and you get a very very entertaining and wonderful series. The first movie was excellent. The second one was darker, scarier and even better than the first. The third one was the worst of the lot, mostly attributable to bad direction, overdownsizing of the story and some degradation in acting. The fourth one is not as good as the first two but improves a bit over the third one. All four movies are worth watching at least once though. They are all really good.
I just watched all of them for the first time and now Im obsessed 😂.

Apsolutly amazing, this is the movie that started it all for me i still remember being a 6 year old kid in 2001 seeing the trailer for the first time and being pulled in after that the rest is history I'm 20 years old and still love this series I was literally 6-16 when the movies were coming out and I still remember being a part of those long lines to get the new book needless to say just about my entire childhood and teen years were centered around harry potter and I'm so glad to be a part of the harry potter generation.
I love how we meet the Weasley family for the first time in this scene. But after reading the whole series, I can't look at them without thinking like oh yeah he dies in the end or she kills Bellatrix or she ends up with Harry or he betrays his family etc. Sigh, the curses of rereading a series.
